VANYA KONSTANTINOVA VASILEVA /1973 – 2017/ WAS BORN IN BULGARIA, CITY OF VARNA AND IS NOW TRAVELLING AND WORKING ALL AROUND THE WORLD.
Her education began at National School of Stage and Film Design/ Audio-Visual and Multimedia Production/BULGARIA /, speciality: Art Direction, Makeup and Special Effects, Wigs making for Cinema, TV and Theater before moving onto studying MA at National Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia.
She Works in the field of Painting, Printmaking, Drawing, Scenography. She has numerous of group and 5 individual exhibitions some of which in Casablanca and Athens.
“Her paintings are alive and powerful; the color contrasts; background abstractions; very expressive, all in all very appealing and joyful artworks”. Now many of them are in private collections in Europe, USA and Canada.
In the field of Scenography is working as an author of scenery for shows . Since 2003 till 2007 makes stage decors for the Musicals : Moulin Rouge”, “Grease, ” “Celtic, ” “Hair, ” “Saturday Night Fever, ” “Dirty Dancing”, “Lion King”… in Tunisia, Croatia, Turkey, Italy, Greece and Bulgaria.
Last 4 years Vanya has created the Scenography, made the Masks and Costumes in the shows as follow:
